Behnaz Jafari self-quarantining amid coronavirus outbreak

Iranian actress Behnaz Jafari says she is living under quarantine because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Iranian actress Behnaz Jafari says she is living under self-quarantine because of the coronavirus outbreak, stressing that saved energy during these days would benefit the theater and arts in general.

Speaking in a radio interview, Jafari said that she has stayed at home most of her time since she returned from Germany after she attended Berlin International Film Festival.

She noted that coronavirus quarantine helped people to look into neglected issues.

Talking about how she spends her spare time, Jafari said this global incident made people return to files that have been buried long time ago.

“I personally needed this quarantine… The earth also needed that.”

“I save my energy for good things,” she added, noting that this saved energy would benefit the theater and art.

Behnaz Jafari is a theater, television and cinema actress. She was born in Tehran in 1974.

In 1994, she started her professional career by playing a small role in the movie ‘Blue Scarf’.
